A degree in Biology is very versatile and permits study in many different professional programs and graduate school.

Over 80% of our department graduates go on to graduate or professional schools. Popular fields for those interested in health sciences include medicine, physician assistant and dentistry. Students also pursue master's and doctoral degrees in areas such as restoration ecology, environmental toxicology, horticulture, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics.
