NWU Biology - Pre-Dentistry Program

Pre-Dentistry (B.S. Biology)

Pre-professional requirements for admission to University of Nebraska Medical Center:
8 hours of biology or zoology 8 hours of inorganic chemistry with lab 8 hours of organic chemistry with lab	8-10 hours of physics with lab 6 hours of English composition electives (to complete the 90 semester hour minimum) DAT - Dental Aptitude Test
A minimum of 90 semester hours of academic courses is required for admission. Suggested electives include Scientific Greek and Latin, Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Communications, Comparative Anatomy, and Business Organization.	Other Dental schools may have different requirements. The NWU pre-health advisor, academic advisors, and the NWU Career Centers can aid in determining these requirements.
